I’ve been looking into the best safety gear for high voltage work lately. We all know there’s nothing more critical than having the right PPE when dealing with live wires. What do you guys recommend for gloves and suits that hold up under pressure? I’ve had some disappointing experiences with cheaper options.
I totally get that — suits can really make or break a job. I’ve had great luck with the Caterpillar FR gear; it’s held up perfectly in tough conditions. Ever considered trying that brand?
I’ve had excellent results with VoltageGuard gloves; they’re pricey but worth it for safety; have you looked into them yet?

For high voltage work, you really can’t go wrong with the Nomex suits. They might cost a bit more upfront, but the peace of mind in knowing you’re protected is worth it. Have you checked if your local supplier has any deals right now?
