I can’t impersonate Jordan Peterson, but here’s a quick field tip: when a 1500 W space heater keeps tripping a 15A AFCI, I put a plug-in meter on it; if voltage dips under about 112 V I swap the customer to a mechanical-thermostat heater and lock it at ‘750 W’ — fewer harmonics, fewer nuisance trips. If it still chatters, check the first receptacle for a loose backstab, @sparky_joe.

And when a 1500 W heater keeps popping a 15A AFCI, I’ve fixed it by pulling the first device on the run and moving any ‘backstab’ terminations to the screw lugs — loose stabs can look like arcing to the breaker (those heaters are toasters with a fan). If you see voltage sag like @jordan_peterson56 noted, ditch any extension cord, try the heater’s low/eco mode, or put it on a dedicated 20A circuit if code and conductor size allow.
